Snowflake Gift Card Holder

Materials

Card holder template
Light blue cardstock (two 8 ½ X 11 sheets)
MSRS Cloisonné Cameo Winter
White embossing powder
Pigment inkpad (Versamark or similar)
Dye inkpad (turquoise)
Turquoise ribbon (18”)
White gel pen
Scissors
Ruler
Bone folder
Two sided tape
Glue

Steps

Copy the template on to light blue cardstock
Cut the template down the center (you have two card holders on the template) set one aside and cut the other one out. Cut on all the solid lines and score on the dotted lines.
Using the dye inkpad, color the inside of the gift card holder (the side with the lines) by rubbing directly from the pad. Set aside to dry.
Color the other piece of cardstock the same way. Allow it to dry (you can speed up the process with a heat tool) Stamp and emboss three winter cameos. Cut or punch out the cameos and set aside.
Going back to the card holder, before folding the bottom tab up, cut away small slivers of the tab on both sides as shown. This will help the card holder lay flat.
Fold the flap up and the “wings” one over the other with the right wing on top.
Flip the card holder over and place a small piece of tape in the center. Attach the ribbon to the tape. Cover the tape with one of the cameos.
Flip the card holder over and pull the ribbon from the right side over the front of the card holder. Attach it to the right wing with a small piece of tape. Cover the tape with another cameo positioning it diagonally as shown.
Open the card holder and glue or tape the third cameo over the back of the front cameo.
Close up the card holder and tie the ribbon to finish. Add “snow” to the front with a white gel pen if you wish. Enjoy!
